It’s been a little bit since we spoke, as we've been busy working tirelessly to bring back top-quality bread for you!
We’re excited that through the many improvements we implemented, issues with mold and crumbling have very much decreased.
But we know we have more work to do! Especially with the size of our loaves. 🍞💪⬆️
If you noticed smaller loaves, please know the amount of dough is exactly the same as it's always been. But the amount loaves rise has been inconsistent and some turn out shorter than others.
To resolve this, we identified we need a steam function in our ovens. This is a major undertaking and we’re excited to share that parts needed arrived yesterday. Our oven technicians Dan and Pete will be installing the steam this and next week!

We believe a new mixer is also needed to ensure dough is mixed evenly. It's still very difficult to find equipment these days, but we’re on a hot trail of the right mixer with the goal of starting to use it by March!
Let us tell you about the image above! With recent increase in package damages during transit, we’ve been exploring solutions to ensure your package arrives in great condition every time.
We’re excited to share that starting January 3rd, 2023, orders will be shipping in heavy-duty boxes, reinforced with dividers, per photo above! 💪📦✅
They are crazy tough and custom-made just for our loaves. Combined with dividers, bread cannot move around and get damaged. Furthermore, we can stop using our temporary solution of plastic air-pillows!
Another big update: As of this week, Mary and Diana (our shipping happy campers) are lovingly packing and shipping ALL your orders directly from our bakery in Denver, CO.
This means orders will reliably ship the next business day and take up to 3 days in transit. You will wait less time for your bread and won’t have to worry about going hungry! 👌🥪😋
To help with UPS delays, we’ve strengthened our supervision of shipped packages. We watch every single order daily to ensure it is processed and delivered by UPS. We will be in touch proactively should there be any delays or issues.
